The Clean Fifteen

Wondering if its worth buying organic vegetables and fruit?  A new report published by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) compiled by the USDA to identify

the "clean fifteen" - these are fruits and veggies with the lowest levels of pesticides so there's no need to waste your money on organic versions. Instead, save your money to buy oganic apples, which they found had the highest level of pesticides of any common fruit or vegetable!

  4. Avocado
  5. Asparagus
  6. Sweet peas
  7. Mangoes
  8. Eggplants
  9. Cantaloupe (domestic)
  10. Kiwi
  11. Cabbage

  13. Sweet potatoes
  14. Grapefruit
  15. Mushrooms
